Service Team Manager/Guru

Our growing independent insurance agency has an immediate opening for a dynamic, innovative Service Team Manager/Guru. A minimum of 5 years experience in an independent insurance agency environment and proficiency in handling a wide range of supervisory, administrative and client support related tasks is required. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, driven, inquisitive, detail and process oriented, a team player and have a strong commitment to being an expert in the insurance industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and guide staff to build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent customer service & industry leading knowledge
  • Work directly with clients, as necessary, to support team members
  • Develop efficient/effective workflows
  • Collaborate with agency owner and management to:
    • Set monthly retention & growth goals
    • Develop agency improvement initiatives based on current market trends and competitors.
    • Create value for clients and team members
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients as necessary.
  • Measure team results vs. goals.
  • Manage service team to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify agency and team member performance improvement areas and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate team performance levels including areas of concerns to management.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each day
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with agency partners.

  • A strong working knowledge of small commercial insurance products: BOP, WC, Auto
  • Active TX P&C License
  • 5+ Years experience in an independent agency environment
  • Knowledge of AMS360 is a plus
  • Pass Criminal Background Check
  • Non-Smoking Office
