Medical Assistant
Outpatient Medical Center in Chesterfield, Virginia is seeking a qualified, professional, and dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team! The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care, performing various clinical and administrative tasks.

Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting. Proficiency in EMR systems & medical terminology. Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with the check-in process, and escort them to examination rooms. Preparing and reviewing patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying that all diagnostic tests results, hospital reports, and other medical records are correct and up to date. Preparing patients for upcoming imaging and procedures.
- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining electronic medical records (EMR). Answering phones, handling patient inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Verifying insurance coverage.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical supplies. Stock and maintain medical supplies and inventory.
- Compliance and Safety: Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Adhere to all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
