Job Description

We are partnered with an agency in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Technical Assistant who will be responsible for providing clerical and technical support to Brokers, AVP/Marketing Specialists and Associate Brokers. Performs only within the parameters set by one of these individuals.


  • Preparation of quotes, cover notes, binders, certificates, policies and tax filings
  • Sorts and prioritizes work flow
  • Process and distribute mail
  • Checks and verifies for accuracy all completed documents
  • Verifies underlying documentation
  • Understands the suspense and renewal systems, clearing of accounts and invoicing
  • Administration and coordination of internal processing and servicing of clients’ needs
  • Reviews audits for accuracy
  • Set up files
  • Type correspondence as may be required
  • All other duties as assigned


  • Knowledge of insurance industry
  • Knowledge of computer software packages, including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of office procedures, practices and equipment
  • Ability to read and comprehend written information
  • Ability to work accurately with lists of alpha or numeric data
  • Ability to enter, transcribe, store and maintain data electronically
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under stress and time constraints
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization skills
  • Work is performed under supervision, following detailed instructions on policies and procedures

  • High School or College Grad  
  • Two to three years experience in similar position
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills
